Jatinegara Jakpreneur Gives Compensation to 20 Orphans

Besides helping them (orphans), we also hope the COVID-19 outbreak will pass quickly thus people's lives will return to normal as before

The entrepreneurs who are also members of the Jakpreneur, Jatinegara Sub-district, East Jakarta gave compensation to 20 orphans, on Monday (5/10).

Jatinegara Sub-district PPKUKM Executing Unit Acting Head, Sigit Dwiyanto said this compensation activity was the result of the initiative of 24 members of the coached Jakpreneur.

Ramadan, 120 Orphans on Panggang Island Receive Compensation

Previously, he expressed, they also routinely distributed 300 free takjil (light iftar snacks) every weekend to orphans in orphanages, poor people and motorists who passed by just before breaking the fast.

Zulfarina (53), one of Jakpreneur members from Jatinegara Sub-district explained, besides developing businesses to improve the welfare of members, his party also set aside a portion of the sustenance to share during Ramadan.

"Besides helping them (orphans), we also hope the COVID-19 outbreak will pass quickly thus people's lives will return to normal as before," he hoped.
